Promoting Historic Preservation, Education, and Patriotism
The Desert Wells Chapter, NSDAR, strives to fulfill the objectives of the Daughters of the American Revolution in the areas of historic preservation, education, and patriotism. Each year, we choose service projects our chapter members can perform together or separately, such as providing support to veterans in Tucson, Arizona, through the Fisher House. Annually, we recognize outstanding student cadets in local high schools’ Junior Reserve Officers’ Training Corps (JROTC). We also attend patriotic events and encourage our members to perform community service.
With many service-oriented opportunities in DAR, our members can find meaningful activities to choose from that further these objectives. If you are interested in joining us at a meeting, learning more about our activities, or exploring DAR membership, contact us.
